Om Painting. Yoga Wall Hanging. AUM Painting Poster. Contemporary Indian Art- "Creation' OR "Krithi". Artikrti
Description
Om Painting for ethnic indian decor: "Creation" Or "Krithi"
The ancient syllable Om or AUM is intrinsic to India. It is the shortest of the Mantras and in Indian tradition it is suggestive of God. It is believed that repetition of “Om” enables us maintain mental and emotional calmness, overcome obstacles and enable understanding. Yoga followers would know this.
Titled “Creation” this work of art celebrates yoga and because the Om mantra is so central to yoga, it features the mantra at it's very core. Signifying the creation of our world or the Big Bang, this painting's Sanskrit title is "Krithi" which means Creation. This word is the inspiration for the name "Artikrti", which is to mean artistic creation. Hence, this painting is also a celebration of Artikrti and the talent of the thousands of artisans and artists from India who create works of art and craft. This piece of digital art is meant to help us contemplate that awe-inspiring moment of creation, millions of years back, which is linked to this moment in our lives, like an umbilical chord. With Om signifying the seed to all life in this world.
Creation, the painting, is for you to take in and then close your eyes and meditate, while visualizing in your mind's eye the spectacular moment of creation captured in this work of art. Thereby, being in complete synchrony and harmony with the vibration of this universe.
The Creation yoga art can be featured as that ideal dash of ethnic, Indian feel to your home décor-in your foyer, living or family room, study or computer room or a landing. Or in your yoga room!
May harmony be yours.
