Silver finish choker statement necklace. Ethnic chain. Indian jewelry. "Temple Bells": Handmade wedding or party wear jewelry. Artikrti.
Description
Indian Bridal or Wedding or Party Choker Statement Necklace chain. This design goes back a couple of centuries at least, when jewellers made jewelry just for queens and princesses. Inspired by the bells that are a common feature in all temples in India, the design uses miniature bell-like drops all along a thick rope of intricately sculpted chain. Called "Temple Bells" for that reason, this is a modern day design for bridal and wedding jewelry in 22 and 24 carat gold.
This exquisite piece in white metal with a light anodized silver finish is an identical sister of the gold statement necklace that Indian brides and those attending Indian weddings wear. A workmanship so intricate that the jeweller artisan needs two to three weeks to finish just one single piece.
Yours to love and cherish and maybe one day pass on to your daughter as an antique:)
